I’m Mary, the eye and heart behind Chica Creative Studios.

My photography journey started in my kitchen, styling and photographing cakes for my food blog, The Cake Chica. What began as a love for capturing food slowly grew into a passion for documenting the beauty in everyday life, those real, unposed moments that often go unnoticed.

I specialize in food, and documentary-style photography, capturing moments with care and intention. From carefully styled food sessions in my home studio to the unscripted beauty of church gatherings and live events, My goal is to create inviting food blog photography and documentary-style images that feel natural, authentic, and rich with story.
